- E€OFISH promotes effective collaboration between LVFO and LTA. It hosted a meeting on June 4, 2021 to initiate preliminary discussions between the two bodies’ high-level management and technical officers to explore the prospects and challenges for enhancing sustainable and integrated management of inland water fisheries.
- E€OFISH urges the region to reinforce its commitment toward ocean protection. With the collaboration of E€OFISH Programme, the European Union and the Indian Ocean Commission reflected on oceans-related issues on the World Oceans Day – June 8, 2021, and resolved to redouble efforts towards the efficient management of this ecosystem. - On June 25, 2021, E€OFISH team had an initial meeting with Mr. Géza Strammer, the new Head of Cooperation of the European Union Delegation for the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Seychelles. The European Union reiterated its support in the implementation of E€OFISH, which is cited as one of the European flagship projects at the Ocean Conference in 2018.
