  • E€OFISH has carried out a 1st regional fisheries monitoring mission on November 10, 2020. This 36-day mission follows the reactivation of the Regional Fisheries Monitoring Programme. It made possible the control of 15 vessels over a distance of 7,014 miles while strengthening the skills of fisheries inspectors.
  • E€OFISH promotes a more sustainable approach to fisheries by providing further data on the impact of climate change on fishing and blue economy in Africa. Consultants are being recruited to carry out the studies.
  • A regional expert is being recruited to draw up national grants contracts for maritime and air patrols and for capacity building within the framework of the Regional Fisheries Surveillance Program
